'Satyagraha' boasts of a peppy item song

The filmmaker Prakash Jha decided to add an item number in his upcoming film \'Satyagraha\'. Natasa Stankovic will be performing on this peppy track.

The film ' Satyagraha ' that spins around some burning social issues, has been already raising eyebrows. The film will be dealing with an interesting topic. The news update about the film says that the filmmaker Prakash Jha did not forget to add a vibrant item song in the film ' Satyagraha '. Model turned actress Natasa Stankovic will be seen grooving to the tunes of an thumri-electronic fusion number, which goes like 'Aiyo ji hamri atariya mein'. Natasa was earlier seen in some advertisements.

Such songs make a contribution to the story and also is add some sensibilities, as per the belief of the filmmaker. The earlier flicks of Prakash Jha also contained item songs, such as the star wife Manyata Dutt was seen shaking a leg on 'Alhad mast jawaani' from the film ' Gangaajal ' (2003). 'Ishq barse hai boondan boondan' was the item number done by Barkha Bisht in the political-thriller ' Raajneeti ' (2010).

In the film ' Satyagraha ', the purpose of adding an item song is to show an ambiance of affluence and bonhomie of corrupt people, revealed by Jha. He also admitted that such peppy songs assist in pulling the viewers towards the film and these songs also help in entertaining the masses.

The social-thriller ' Satyagraha ' features Amitabh Bachchan , Ajay Devgn , Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal . August 23 will see the film hitting the screen.
