This Friday will see this political thriller based on a boiling social issue of corruption, quivering the screens. The movie aims at showcasing common man as the protagonist, who is surrounded by various issues in today's life, such as corruption and injustice.

' Satyagraha ' intends to depict the uprising of the common man against corrupt political system and this uprising takes the form of an impulsive movement with a national resonance. Amitabh Bachchan is essaying the character of "satyagrahi" Dwarka Anand, a man of principles, who goes on indefinite hunger strike in the Gandhian way.
