In the season of political thrillers mushrooming in the town, one more thriller is coming to entice the audience and is based on today's boiling issue of corruption in the nation. The renowned director Prakash Jha is arriving with his next film ' Satyagraha ' starring Amitabh Bachchan , Ajay Devgn , Kareena Kapoor , Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai . Prior to this, the country saw vivid political thrillers bumping on the silver screen like ' Raajneeti ', ' Aarakshan ', ' My Name is Khan ', ' Lamhaa ' and many more.
The latest reports revealed that the filmmakers of ' Satyagraha ' claim to be a sequel of Ranbir Kapoor , Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal starrer blockbuster ' Raajneeti '. The filmmaker expressed his views by mentioning that the film ' Raajneeti ' revolved around the theme of betrayal and it was a family drama. ' Satyagraha ' spins around the conflict among the father and son. This conflict has its roots dipped in the political operations by Manoj Bajpai 's character in the film. The movie ' Satyagraha ' is pertaining to politics in today's world and protests, said Prakash Jha .
Jha further added that the political-saga ' Satyagraha ' resembles ' Raajneeti ' in many ways, as it is a narration about family drama, egos, betrayal, personal battles and today's political pattern. The director also quoted the film ' Satyagraha ' as modern-day rajneeti.
The grapevine chirped that Prakash Jha will next be landing up with the next installment of ' Satyagraha ' and it will be based more on conventional politics. The nitty gritty about the project is still unknown.
