Shah Rukh Khan to start prepping up for Rakesh Sharma’s biopic from May?
The actor will wrap Zero in April and will do his own research for Salute with his team and studying the nuances to play the astronaut.

Megastar Shah Rukh Khan is following ‘One movie at a time’ mantra and has immersed himself in the shooting of his ambitious project, Zero . The Raees actor has been shooting for his on-going film for one of the longest times and will start his next project only after he completes the Aanand L Rai ’s film. Well, it’s not hidden that the actor has also been approached to play the biopic of the astronaut, Rakesh Sharma, it is reported that he will start prepping up for the same from the month of May. According to a leading daily, post wrapping the shoot of Zero , SRK will start prepping for Salute (the tentative title of Rakesh Sharma’s biopic) from May onwards.
A source revealed to the daily, "SRK will wrap Zero by April end, after which he will be busy for the next three months prepping up for his character in Salute. He will be doing his own research with his team and studying the nuances to play the astronaut. That’s why he’s taken a three-month break in between to devote himself fully to the biopic."
Shah Rukh will commence shooting for the movie from September to November, and then take a break to promote Zero and get back to work on Salute from January 2019. The film is expected to release next year.
Meanwhile, Zero , which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma , is slated to release on 21st December 2018.
