Karan Johar 's forthcoming venture ' 2 States ' will flaunt the music by the power-trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy . The film is having a climax wedding track 'Hulla Re', which is said to be sung by the promising father-son duo of Shankar Mahadevan and his son Siddharth Mahadevan . Prior to this, Siddharth crooned the songs like 'Zinda' from the blockbuster ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ' and bagged awards for the same.

' 2 States ' director Abhishek Varman attested the news update by saying that "Siddharth always wanted to sing in the film, but could not get the right song to sing till 'Hulla Re' came along We needed two different textured voices and the father and son's voices suited that. While Shankar himself is a classically trained singer, who can sing high notes, he felt that Siddharth was able to sing the high notes with even greater ease than he himself is able to, and was very excited to see his son sing along with him,"
