Shilpa Shinde to join hands with Sunil Grover for a digital show
The untitled show brings cricket and comedy together and will be aired during IPL. It will be helmed by sister duo Preeti and Neeti Simoes.

Two of the biggest stars of the small screen are rumoured to come together for the first time and that too for a digital show. While the one has made us thoroughly laugh with his comic timing, the other has won millions of hearts just by being true and natural. We are talking about the ace comedian, Sunil Grover and reality show queen, Shilpa Shinde . The two have been away from the limelight for quite a long time now but might be soon coming together for a cricket-based comedy show that will be aired on the web. While producers avoid bringing new shows during Indian Premier League (IPL), this untitled show will be aired during the month of April. The series will be helmed by sister duo Preeti and Neeti Simoes.
Shared a source exclusively with a leading portal, “In a time when makers are scared to launch new shows during IPL, Preeti and Neeti have decided to dive straight into the ocean during the cricket season. They are working on a one-of-a-kind show for the digital world that will bring together cricket and comedy. Sunil and Shilpa will play commentators and discuss the on-going IPL matches. It would be on the lines of extra innings, only it would be much more fun and entertaining. Both Sunil and Shilpa have liked the idea and seem quite excited.”
The team is currently working on the script and creative. Post which, there would be a monetary discussion with Sunil and Shilpa. Only after they’ve signed the contracts, the makers will announce the show officially.
