Amazon Prime has taken the digital space in India by storm. They are investing crores in telling Indian stories on the web. After the success of their recently streamed series, Breathe, the streaming media giant is now making an eight-part mini-series The Forgotten Army. Shooting for the same has just begun and the latest we hear that popular film and television actress Shruti Seth has been roped in to play an important character in the digital series.
The Forgotten Army, which is based on freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army, is being helmed by Kabir Khan , who last directed Salman Khan 's Tubelight . It will mark his foray into digital space. Shruti, who has been part of several successful shows such as Shararat and TV, Biwi Aur Main, will be playing one of the important roles in the army. The actress has started shooting for the series.
