Siddharth gets in the comedy genre

Multitalented actor Siddharth who played a serious kind of role in his previous film 'Rang De Basanti' is now all set to change his angry young man serious image into a jolly and comedy one. The talented star will appear in his next Bollywood project 'Chashme Baddoor'.

Multitalented actor Siddharth who played a serious kind of role in his previous film ' Rang De Basanti ' is now all set to change his angry young man serious image into a jolly and comedy one. The talented star will appear in his next Bollywood project ' Chashme Baddoor '. The film is directed by the king of comedy and veteran director David Dhawan . The film is funny as a barrel of monkeys.

Siddharth who was busy in doing his south Indian films was recently seen playing a key role in Deepa Mehta 's much talked film ' Midnight's Children '. He played a totally different role of an antagonist in that film. Now Siddharth is all set to show his funny side on the silver screen. Through this film, he will be making a debut in the comedy genre.

The film is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and has Ali Zafar , Divyendu Sharma and Tapasee in the pivotal roles. The movie is an official remake of yesteryears hit 'Chashme Buddoor' which starred Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval . The remake will be released on 5th April 2013 to tickle audiences' funny bones.
