Starring Siddharth Malhotra & Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles, the forthcoming crime thriller film Ittefaq has reportedly locked a release date for itself. According to latest reports, the film may hit screens in the month of November.
A source close related to the project revealed to a daily, “They have finished shooting. Only the promotional track and some patchwork remain to be shot. The dubbing will start shortly, and they will be ready for a release in a couple of months. There is a gap post-Diwali (October 18). So mostly, Ittefaq will come in November before Padmavati on November 17. The makers plan to release the film in the second week of November, as it means a solo release, and a gap of two weeks after Golmaal Again and Secret Superstar hit the screens.”
Ittefaq is an official remake of the hit 1969 film of the same name. It featured superstar Rajesh Khanna and Nanda in pivotal role. The remake is being co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment , Dharma Productions and B R Studios. Interestingly, the original film was produced by veteran filmmaker B.R Chopra and its remake is being directed by his grandson Abhay Chopra.
