Bollywood actress Smily Suri , who featured in the films like ' Down Town ', ' Yeh Mera India ', ' Crackers ' and ' Kalyug ', exchanged marital vows on Wednesday. Smily is the sister of the filmmaker Mohit Suri and the actor Emraan Hashmi .
The mother of Mohit was the sister of Mahesh Bhatt and she expired due to cardiac arrest. Mohit was just 8-year old at that time. The film ' Aashiqui ' was slated to release then and it was dedicated to his mother. Mohit then started living with his father and Smily moved to her mother's mausi's home, who was Emraan's nani. Smily grew up with Mohit and Emraan and the two became the closet people for her.
Smily exchanged marital vows with her dance teacher Vineet Bangera. The wedding was reportedly a private ceremony and was a blend of South Indian and North Indian customs. The entry and exit was done as per the North Indian custom and the remaining function was completed in South Indian style. The ceremony of jota-chhupai brought the joy at the venue.
