Bollywood and its filmmakers are in rush to remake and remix old Bollywood tracks with new rendition, which will be suitable for the modern time. And fresh addition to the list is a new track, Socha Hai, from Emraan Hashmi ’s upcoming film Baadshaho , the song which also features Esha Gupta in the song! And the first impression of this song, it is fun and reminiscent of the golden era of Bollywood films and songs in 70s.
The song starts with the blooming chemistry between Dalia and Sanjana in the midst of the chaotic gold heist they were planning! And taking the time out, he decided to express his feeling for Sanjana in the most Bollywoodish manner possible. The track itself keeps all the elements of a classic song sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle and composed by R. D. Burman ! Tanishk Bagchi did a fine job of not messing with the basic and untouchable aesthetics of the song while forming better inclusion of vocals by Jubin Nautiyal and Neeti Mohan !
It is also interesting to see, makers and composers poke fun at the trend of remaking the song and adding rap portion in the remix song, and this track particularly highlight the fact that Socha Hai don’t have rap portion and yet it remains melodious! About the film, Baadshaho is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by T-Series production. The cast includes Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi , Ileana D'Cruz , Vidyut Jamwal , Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. The film is set to release on September 1st!
