Sonakshi Sinha to have a special appearance in Saif Ali Khan and R Madhavan’s upcoming period war drama?
The film is being helmed by Navdeep Singh and Zoya Hussain of the Mukkabaaz fame will be seen as the female lead.

Dabangg fame Sonakshi Sinha is going through some hard times in her career. Her films are getting tanked back to back. But the latest we hear is that the 30-year-old actress will now be seen doing an important cameo in Saif Ali Khan and R Madhavan ’s upcoming film, which is tentatively titled, Battle Of Buxar. Talking about it, a source stated to a tabloid, "Sonakshi will be playing an interesting cameo in the yet untitled film. She is the surprise element which is why the makers are keeping her part and look tightly under wraps for now." While the makers of the film have locked Zoya Hussain of the Mukkabaaz fame as their female lead, it will be exciting to see what role Sonakshi plays.
If a report in a leading portal is to be believed, Saif is already in Rajasthan shooting for the film which went on floors last week. A source close to the project said, "It is being shot near Desuri village presently and will move to other parts of the state. Deepak Dobriyal will also be joining the cast in an important role. This will be followed by long schedules in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh in the coming months."
Saif and Maddy will be seen indulging in sword-fighting and horse-riding in the film and have been prepping for the same.
