'Sonali Cable' to hit the screens on January 2014

The release date for upcoming movie ' Sonali Cable ' is now announced by NextGen Entertainment and Super Cassettes Industries Limited (SCIL), Ramesh Sippy Entertainment . And now, the film is going to hit the screens on January 3, 2014. After the critically acclaimed hit flick ' Nautanki Saala! ', this is second collaboration of Ramesh Sippy Entertainment and SCIL.

'David vs Goliath' story is the theme of the film ' Sonali Cable '. It revolves around cable internet turf war in Mumbai. A girl-next-door and her ragtag team come in the way of India's largest corporation's expansion plans. She puts her life, love and survival at stake due to this. Establishing the increasing corporate crushing small businesses sans any room for co-existence is the aim of the film. Debutant Charudutt Acharya is the director and writer of this film. The star cast of this movie includes Rhea Chakraborty , Ali Fazal , Swanand Kirkire , Smita Jaykar and Anupam Kher .

A varied sountrack will present the talent of various crooners like Mikey McCleary, Devi Shri Prasad , Ankit Tiwari and Falak. Kausar Munir will be writing the lyrics for the songs.

The tagline of the film ' Sonali Cable ' says - 'Apun Kabhi Offline Nahin Jaate' catches the spirit of youth. The film showcases emotional and humorous side of the characters, as it is touted as character driven drama.
