Sonam Kapoor to share the big screen with Dulquer Salmaan in an upcoming film, ‘The Zoya Factor’?

Malayalam actor, Dulquer Salman , who is yet to make his Bollywood debut has reportedly given his nod for the second film. As per reports in a tabloid, the actor is all set to be part of the screen adaptation of the 2009 novel by Anuja Chauhan – The Zoya Factor, opposite Sonam Kapoor . For those who do not know this, the book revolves around a PR executive named Zoya Solanki who was born at the moment when Indian had lifted the 1983 World Cup. During an assignment, she comes across a low-on-spirits Indian cricket team who invite her to have breakfast with them. When they win the match that day, the team, as well as the media, hails Zoya as the lucky charm of the team, which puts her at crossroads with the team captain, who believes that luck has no place on the cricket field.
A source revealed a leading tabloid, “It’s an interesting character and Dulquer has liked the script. While he has committed to the project he is yet to sign on the dotted line.”
Dulquer has already roped in for an upcoming movie ‘Karwan’ opposite Irrfan Khan and YouTube star, Mithila Palkar from ‘Girl in the City’. And this will be his second film. It was reported that the actor was also approached for Anurag Kashyap ’s ‘ Manmarziyan ’ opposite Taapsee Pannu , but he is no more part of that film.
‘The Zoya Factor’ will be produced by Aarti and Pooja Shetty and will be directed by Abhishek Sharma and Sonam has already confirmed for the movie.
