Sooraj Barjatya is making yet another family drama film but this time without Salman Khan?
Salman’s busy schedule till 2019 left Sooraj Barjatya with no other option than approaching other actors for his next family drama.

When we talk about veteran filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya and his films, the only name that comes to our mind is the megastar, Salman Khan . The actor-director duo of Salman and Sooraj has given us some greatest movies in the past and has also broken many box office records. The duo last collaborated in 2015 for the film ‘ Prem Ratan Dhan Payo ’ and it earned more than 400 crores worldwide. Barjatya, who is known for making family dramas, is all set to make a yet another such kind of film but WITHOUT Salman Khan . The director had Salman in his mind but Bhai’s commitment for the next two years left Barjatya with no other option than approaching other actors. Though Barjatya will not wear the director’s cap this time, the film will be helmed by the assistant director of ‘ Prem Ratan Dhan Payo ’.
Talking to a leading daily, an insider said, "Sooraj liked a story about four protagonists and the relationships that they share. Hence, he wants to go ahead with the film soon. But he has asked one of his associates to helm the project.”
In the past, apart from PRDP, Salman and Sooraj have worked in movies like, ‘ Maine Pyaar Kiya ’ (1989), ‘ Hum Aapke Hai Koun ’ (1994), and ‘ Hum Saath-Saath Hain ’ (1999) and all the three became a blockbuster hit.
Where Barjatya is about to start his next project, Bhai on the other hand, has a bag full of movies for the next 2 and half years.
