South Actress Regina Cassandra to debut in Bollywood with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga!
Regina has worked in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films and will be paired opposite Rajkummar Rao in her debut Hindi film, ELKDTAL.

The year 2018 will surely be known as the year of debutants. While many star kids will be seen stepping in the Hindi film industry, a few actors from regional cinema will also mark their debut in Bollywood. Last month, we saw Kannada actress Gayathri Iyer in Ajay Devgn’s Raid and now, Regina Cassandra, a yet another talented actress from the Southern cinema, will be seen in a Hindi film. Regina is a 28 years old actress who has worked in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films and now she will be paired opposite Rajkummar Rao in her first Hindi film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga .
Noted trade analyst, Ramesh Bala, confirmed the news on Twitter, captioning, “.@ReginaCassandra has started shooting for her debut #Bollywood movie #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga in #Patiala She is paired opp to @RajkummarRao @AnilKapoor and @sonamakapoor will be seen together on the big screen for the 1st time in this movie..”
Directed by Shelly Chopra , ELKDTAL is an emotional cum humourous family drama, which stars Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao as the leads. The film will also mark the first-ever collaboration of Anil Kapoor and Sonam and interestingly, the two will be playing the father-daughter role in the movie as well. Chopra’s film also reunites Anil and Juhi Chawla together, they were last seen in 2007’s film, Salaam–E–Ishq .
Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani Films, ELKDTAL is slated to release on 12th October 2018.
