Sridevi's Andheri residence catches fire
Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's Andheri Lokhandwala house caught fire on December 21 at 6.15 pm due to a short circuit in the air-conditioner of the actress's bedroom.

B-Town actress Sridevi and her filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor live in an apartment at Andheri Lokhandwala back road. As per the latest reports, fire broke at the couple's house on December 21 at 6.15 pm due to a short circuit in the air-conditioner of the actress's bedroom.
At the time of fire, Sridevi was in her home along with her daughters and mother-in-law. It is being said that the actress was getting ready for an important meeting when her house caught the fire. The fire destroyed her entire bedroom. Also, the painting of Michael Jackson painted by the actress was destroyed by the fire, as per the buzz. Fortunately, everybody in the family is safe and sound and the fire was brought under control in time. As per the buzz, multiple pricey items of the actress and her daughters were damaged by the fire.
Post this unfortunate incident, the actress's mother-in-law went to younger son Sanjay Kapoor 's home at Juhu, while the daughters were supposed to go out with their friends for dinner. The family is spent the night at Raj Kumar Santoshi 's home, who lives nearby, as the Kapoor residence was in the dark.
