Sridevi upset with Karan Johar over her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor’s debut!

According to reports, seasoned actress Sridevi is not very happy with filmmaker Karan Johar for delaying her daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor’s debut film over and again. The actress is upset with the filmmaker because he is busy announcing one big project after another but has no time to make an official announced regarding the debut film of Jhavni Kapoor. As we all know that Karan Johar picked up Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar, brother of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, to launch them with the Hindi remake of the blockbuster Marathi film Sairaat. All this happened last year but there has been no official confirmation about the same from Dharma Productions as yet.

Jhanvi was hoping to hear the announcement soon but when that did not happen, she asked dear mommy Sridevi to intervene. “Jhanvi spoke to her mother Sridevi and asked her to have a word with Karan. So when Sridevi and Karan were exchanging pleasantries during the festive season, the topic of the announcement came up. She has been assured that the film will be announced once things are in place completely. Karan has also not made an official announcement on Student of the Year 2 with Tiger Shroff , as the girls in the film have also not been finalized,” says a source.

Karan recently announced two ambitious projects – Brahmastra and Kesari . While Brahmastra , to be directed by Ayan Mukerji , stars Amitabh Bachchan , Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor , director Anurag Singh ’s Kesari features superstar Akshay Kumar .
