With the immense joy, our Bollywood stars brought Lord Ganesha to their house. They celebrated every moment when God was residing at their place. And after five days with heavy heart, they bid goodbye to him. Here is the update of Ganpati visarjan from B-Town.

To start with the veteran actor Jeetendra , after five days of celebration he was going to immerse his Ganpati by around 6:30 in the evening on September 2. But his pandit recommended him to not to take out the idol from his house on Tuesday. As according to Hindu beliefs, Tuesday happens to be Lord Ganesha's day. Therefore, he performed the aarti with his family and placed the God in the flower decorated tempo. It's in the midnight; the family carried the procession of immersion at Juhu beach.

Same was the scenario at Rishi Kapoor 's Pali Hill Bungalow Krishna Raj. The Kapoor Khaandan had hosted the Ganpati for five days and then they together performed the last prayers. As Ranbir Kapoor was out of India, he missed the function. Yet his sister Riddhima and niece Samara delighted everyone with their presence. Even they carried out the immersion at Juhu beach, near Sunny Sound Studios.

Upbeat atmosphere was witnessed at Vivek Oberoi 's Juhu bungalow, where the Oberoi family had invited the entire press fraternity for Ganesh darshan. Earlier they used to host Ganpati for one and a half days, but after a couple of year's gap they resumed the tradition then hosting it for five days. They started with the immersion process by 5:30 pm on Tuesday with head honk of the family Suresh Oberoi commenced the last aarti with the sound of a conch shell. Vivek walked bare-footed carrying the idol in his hands. Then went up to the knee deep water and handed over the Ganpati to the appointed person to immerse it deep into the sea.
