The movie ' Tara - The Journey of Love & Passion ', which released today, i.e; July 12, not only emphasizes on women empowerment but also spotlights on issues like fight in the opposition of injustice on women community regardless of the age group. The movie is apparently a wake up call for all the women in the society and an appeal to all the men to modify their outlook of looking at women.
' Tara - The Journey of Love & Passion ' film saw a fresh face debuting in Bollywood, Rekha Rana . She expressed her views about the film mentioning that the movie is dedicated to Nirbhaya and all the other rape victims or who had fallen prey to humiliation or assault at the hands of men. Rekha said that her character in the movie gives tough fight till the end, just like Nirbhaya did in her life post the traumatic incident.
The film ' Tara - The Journey of Love & Passion ' delivers a strong social message of fighting against all the injustice done to women in the society and to empower the women in an effective way, Rekha added. She also added that the story of the flick aims at showcasing the eradication of the derogatory thought that women are burden on their father prior to their marriage and a burden on husband post their marriage.
The flick depicts Rekha as Tara, a banjara girl. Rekha Rana spent a lot of time with village women in order to conveniently portray the banjara character in the film, confessed Rekha. The theatre background proved of a great help to essay this character, as she told.
