Hollywood actor John DeLong, who featured in the film 'The Expendables', is now geared up to enter Bollywood. Rajeev Ruia 's upcoming film 'Flames' will be John's debut movie in B-Town. The earlier film directed by Rajeev Ruia are ' Main Krishna Hoon ' and ' My Friend Ganesha '.
John DeLong has also featured in the movies like 'The Phoenix Rises' and 'Deadliest Prey'. DeLong will be portraying a television channel reporter, who arrives in India in order to research a project, reportedly. The director Ruia sent the script to DeLong through mail and Ruia said that the actor instantly said 'yes' to the project. The female lead will be played by Hrishitaa Bhatt , whom DeLong falls in love with after coming to India.
Talking about the project, the director said that "He studies a few tribal villages in Chattisgarh where women are still exploited under the guise of black magic. I had read about these disturbing age-old practices and wanted to make a film on it," Ruia revealed the details regarding shoot by saying that "We have recreated parts of Chattisgarh in a Gujarat village and have hired many of the locals to be a part of the film in some way. They are all very excited about making their Bollywood debut with a Hollywood actor,"
