The great actor Goga Kapoor is no more

Goga Kapoor was one of those veteran actors who was known to play negative roles in Hindi feature films in the eighties and nineties. One of his most famous characters was of the film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa starring Shah Rukh Khan in which Goga Kapoor played the role of Anthony Gomes. Goga Kapoor has acted with almost all famous stars of Bollywood. Anyone can remember his role of turning milkman from dreadful goon in the film Shahenshah with the Super Star of the Hindi Film Industry Amitabh Bachchan . Other famous films in which he acted can be mentioned as Agneepath , Jigar , Main Khiladi Tu Anari , Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya , Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak etc.

Though Goga Kapoor played the role of villain in almost all his films, he was good at heart. Hence when the news of his death spread in Bollywood this morning, everyone was shocked.

Goga Kapoor 's real name was Ravinder Kapoor but as you might know that people mostly change their names when they take entry in Bollywood due to varius reasons. First film in which Goga Kapoor acted was Jwala which was released in 1971. Thereafter producers and directors were so impressed by his performance that Goga Kapoor became the first choice for the role of villain in Hindi film industry. Thereafter he did not look back and went on doing film after films.

According to sources, Goga Kapoor was suffering from prolonged illness which caused the sad event this morning.

He is survived by his wife and 3 daughters.
