Beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is on the spree of signing movies, that too with KriArj Entertainment. The actress has already given her nod to two films with KriArj, but now, it is reported that she has been approached for one more film by Prernaa Arora ’s team. A few weeks ago, BollywoodMDB informed our readers that Shree Narayan Singh of ‘ Toilet: Ek Prem Katha ’ fame is collaborating with KriArj Entertainment for a movie on surrogacy and wants Aish to play the role of the surrogate mother. Though Shree Narayan will not be directing this film, he is co-producing the women-centric movie. Although the makers are keen to have Aishwarya on board and have already approached her for the role, producer Prernaa maintains, “We would love to have her but it will depend on her dates.”
Explaining the basic theme of the story Shree Narayan had earlier said, "Jasmine is the journey of a girl to motherhood, of eternal love between a mother and a child. I have always wanted to work on a women-centric film and I'm able to do so." He further added, “It is inspired by a real-life story of a woman in Gujarat who doesn’t want to have children but decides to become a surrogate mother to someone else. After a point, she gets attached to the child and wants the child back.” He adds that they will roll after the monsoon as the writers need time to perfect their script and prep up.
Well, now all depends on Aishwarya, she already has ‘ Fanne Khan ’ releasing this June, then she has the remake of ‘ Raat Aur Din ’ and then she has been approached for yet another untitled thriller film. So it will be interesting to see whether Aish gives her nod for this film or not.
