The Shoojit Sircar directorial ‘October’, starring Varun Dhawan, to arrive in cinemas on 1st June 2018!
After delivering thought-provoking films like Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe and Piku, Shoojit Sircar is all set to take his next, October, on the floors with Varun Dhawan as the lead.

Within days of announcing their project October with the versatile actor Varun Dhawan , the makers at Rising Sun Films have announced the release date of the movie. To be directed by maverick filmmaker, Shoojit Sircar , the film will hit cinemas on 1st June 2018.
Juhi Chaturvedi , who is credited with writing some marvellous films like Vicky Donor , Madras Cafe and Piku for Shoojit Sircar , has written this new slice-of-life story as well. The award-winning screenwriter has always impressed the audience with her writing skills, and we are sure her new offering as a writer will be par excellence.
Talking about his new film, Shoojit said, ““It’s a genre that I have always wanted to delve in. While love and romance have been entwined with Indian cinema, there is abundance in that emotion that everyone can have their own interpretations of. Juhi and I have always tried to create stories from the reflections of real life moments that we see around us. October is another effort to explore those moments out of simple situations of life.”
October is all set to mount floors in the month of September.
