The teaser of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic is not going to be released during the IPL match, says Rajkumar Hirani.
As it was earlier decided, the teaser will be released on Tuesday morning, and not between the Mumbai vs Hyderabad match.

Both Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser and trailer of Dutt’s biopic. The film is tentatively titled, Sanju, and the makers earlier said that the teaser will come out on next Tuesday i.e. 24th April. But a few days ago, rumour started floating in the b-town that the teaser will be released during the Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match which will be played on the 24th eve. But director Rajkumar Hirani dismissed all the rumors and cleared that the teaser will be released on Tuesday itself but in the morning and not between the IPL match.
Hirani told a leading agency, "It is not correct news that it is going to be released during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match. As far as I understand, we are launching the teaser before that. It will be in the morning of April 24. In the evening, it will be shown during the IPL match."

When Hirani was asked whether Sanju would help to re-establish Ranbir again, the 3 Idiots director said, "He was always a Superstar. He never went away. He is a fantastic actor and I really enjoyed working with him and in future, I would love to work with him again on a film.”
The official trailer of the film will be released in May and the film will hit the big screen on 29th June.
