The title for Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror-comedy is ‘STREE’!

A few weeks ago, actor Rajkummar Rao revealed that he is collaborating with beautiful Shraddha Kapoor for an untitled horror-comedy film. Well, their film is no more untitled. As the shooting commenced today, the makers have decided to name their film, ‘ Stree ’. Rajkummar himself revealed the news on Twitter, captioning, “We have a title! Shoot starts on our horror-comedy #Stree. Exciting schedule ahead! @ShraddhaKapoor Directed by Amar Kaushik Written by Raj&DK Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raj&DK.”
The leading lady, Shraddha, too confirmed the news and tweeted, “Andddd we have a title! Shoot starts on our hilariously scary #Stree @RajkummarRao @MaddockFilms.”
A source revealed to a leading tabloid, "Shraddha will play a small town girl with a mystery surrounding her character. It’s a unique role and in a zone that the actress has not attempted before. She has really liked the script and gave her approval last week."
The source further said, "Shraddha will start her prep for Dinesh’s film after she wraps up ‘ Saaho ’. The film will go on the floors in January."
Directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Raj and DK , ‘ Stree ’ will most probably hit the theatres in the later part of 2018.
Seems like Rajkummar is on fire, as the actor started shooting for ‘ Stree ’, he has 6 more films releasing in 2018. His filmography in 2018 follows: ‘Love Sonia’, ‘5 Weddings’ ‘ Omerta ’, ‘Shimla Mirchi’ ‘Ami Saira Bano’ (Bengali Film) and ‘ Fanne Khan ’.
