With Amazon Prime Video's ‘Breathe’, actor R Madhavan stepped into the world of web series. ‘Breathe’ is India’s first medical thriller web series. Released 2 days back, the trailer had crossed more than 4.5 million views in 24 hours and had been viewed more than 2 million times on the day of release. The intriguing trailer was unveiled on 16th January and it has been viewed more than 6,136,971 times. No other trailer of a web series has managed to get these many views in just 2 days, so it’s a record in itself. The trailer of Breathe has been loved by everyone who has viewed it and has started rooting for the digital series. Though this is Madhavan's first time in the world of web, he has yet again treated his fans with his performance in ‘Breathe’.
The web series will be launched globally as a trilingual series in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. ‘Breathe’ is a psychological thriller which traces the journey of a father's unbelievable quest to save the life of his son.
The Amazon Prime Original, Breathe, is produced by Abundantia Entertainment and launches on January 26th, 2018, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. In an unprecedented move, Breathe will launch as a trilingual 8 episode series simultaneously in 200+ countries.
