The trailer of ‘Raid’ is here and Ajay Devgn looks the perfect Income Tax Commissioner!

After doing some quirky comedy, the Singham of Bollywood is back with the genre that suits him the most. We are talking about superstar Ajay Devgn , who is back with a series action-drama ‘ Raid ’, where he is playing the Income Tax Commissioner, Amay Patnaik. The trailer dropped a few minutes ago and we can surely see Ajay Devgn as the series officer for whom his duty matters the most.

Set in the 80s, ‘ Raid ’ is based on one of the most high profile raids the country has ever known and is India's first film on income tax raids. A fearless Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik (Ajay) carries out a non-stop raid at the mansion of Tauji ( Saurabh Shukla ) the most powerful man in Lucknow. Will Tauji manage to stop the raid or will the Amay Patnaik bring him down?

In a statement published in a leading portal, Raj Kumar Gupta said, “Raid is a story that needs to be told on the big screen. I am looking forward to my collaboration with Ajay sir, Bhushanji, Kumarji and Abhishek on this film.”

Producer Bhushan Kumar also added, “ Ajay Devgn is a great actor. We have produced Baadshaho and are now happy to be also producing Raid. Raid is a content driven film and we are excited to produce it.”

The trailer looks intriguing and Ajay’s co-star from ‘ Baadshaho ’, Ileana D’Cruze , is seen playing his wife. The movie is made under the banner of Bhushan Kumar ’s T-Series and it is helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta . With a star cast like Ajay, Ileana and Saurabh Shukla , the Raj Kumar Gupta ’s ‘ Raid ’ is all set to take place on 16th March 2018.
