This is how Shraddha Kapoor perfected her role in & as Haseena Parkar!

It is fascinating to the viewers of how actors slip into a real life characters and livee their life on silver screen, but the story is quite different as an actor has to put a lot of efforts! Shraddha Kapoor impressed everyone with the first teaser and trailer of the upcoming crime thriller biopic, Haseena Parkar . She garnered a lot of accolades and an eager audience is waiting for the film to be released in the theatres on 22 September. But the question is, how did the bubbliest actress amongst Bollywood’s young lot take on such complex, intense and tricky character with such finesse! And if you are also curious to know the answer, then here it is!

In fact, list of actors portraying a real life characters is never easy, so Shraddha faced the same level of challenge! Hence, she took time to understand the character and locality of Nagpada in Mumbai where the subject character real Haseena Parkar used live. And since Haseena respectively was known as Aapa, was a significant personality in that locality, so Shraddha and director Apoorva Lakhia could manage to gather much information from her grandchildren, other family members, and even acquaintances. This series of interaction also revealed many facts about Haseena, which otherwise would be known to the world.

And not many people know about this but Apoorva, who had spent time with actual Haseena Parker before her death in 2014 which eventually helped, Shraddha Kapoor with valuable inputs and make the character portrayal so perfect. Even there was a team assigned to learn and design Shraddha’s look and mannerism of real Haseena Parkar, to add perfection in detaining!

As now just 10 days to release the film in the theatres, the team is excited about the release. The film Haseena Parkar , produced by Nahid Khan and apart from Shraddha Kapoor , the cast also features Siddhanth Kapoor and Ankur Bhatia . Most of the film has been shot on various locations in Mumbai and Pune! It would be interesting to see how all the research and efforts are paid off!
