Toilet: Ek Prem Katha sold for China distributions; to release there later this year!
After receiving a great response from the Indian masses, the Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer is set to have its Chinese release.

Indian movies, especially the one from Bollywood, are finding its space in Chinese markets. A few weeks ago, Salman Khan ’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan released in the Chinese market and in the coming months, Irrfan Khan ’s Hindi Medium will also be released there. And following the leads of these films, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is also set to be released in the neighbouring country. The movie is sold for China distributions and will hit their big screen later this year.
For the uninitiated, the movie is about open defecation and lack of required toilets in the Indian society. The film was received well by the critics as well as the masses. Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh , the movie was produced by Prernaa Arora ’s KriArj Entertainment and was released in India in August 2017.
Made on a social issue, the movie was selected by Bill Gates in his list of top 7 things of 2017 which tried to make society a better place to live.
