1 – Deewana Mastana (1997)
The David Dhawan directorial, Deewana Mastana , starred Govinda , Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. Govinda and Anil try their best to woo Juhi in the movie, but it was Salman’s character, Prem, who walks away with the bride. The audience still remembers Salman’s special appearance in the blockbuster movie.
2 – Sirf Tum (1999)
Two years after his striking cameo in Deewana Mastana , Salman Khan again made a special appearance in the 1999 romantic hit film Sirf Tum . The actor plays Prem in the movie, a prospective groom to the female lead, Priya Gill . The film also featured Sanjay Kapoor and Sushmita Sen in lead roles.
3 – Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke (2000)
Well, Salman Khan made a small appearance as a truck driver in the movie called Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke which starred his then girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan alongside her future husband Abhishek Bachchan . The film was rejected by the audience, but Salman’s cameo did not fail in arresting their attention.
4 – Saawariya (2007)
Saawariya was the launching pad of two star kids – Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor – but it also had Salman Khan in an extended cameo. The film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali , was pitted against the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Om Shanti Om at the box office and fell flat at the ticket window. The only thing the audience liked about this overtly colourful film was Salman’s extended guest appearance.
5 – Hello (2008)
By the time Hello hit screens in 2008, a lot has changed in Salman Khan ’s life, including his girlfriend. After breaking up with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , Khan started dating Katrina Kaif and both appeared in a special guest appearance in the film which was directed by the former’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri . The movie was based on Chetan Bhagat ’s hit novel ‘One Night @ Call Centre and was a dud. However, Salman did not disappoint with his small appearance.
6 – Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009)
If you have seen Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani , starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif , you know exactly where Salman Khan appears in the film. He is playing himself in the movie, directed by Rajkumar Shantoshi . Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is remembered as one of the biggest hits of Ranbir and Katrina’s career.
7 – Son Of Sardar (2012)
Featuring Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal role, Son Of Sardar had Salman Khan in an extended appearance. The actor played the character of Pathan who happens to be Jassi’s best friend in the movie. Salman also shook a leg with Ajay in one of the songs which appeared in the last.
8 – Phata Poster Nikhla Hero (2013)
After appearing in Rajkumar Shantoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani in 2009, Salman did a cameo in Shantoshi’s film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero also. However, the film was not a success at the box office.
9 – Ishkq In Paris (2013)
Ishq In Paris marked the debut of Preity Zinta as a producer. Well, no one remembers this film anymore as it was extremely low on offering any sort of entertainment. The only high of the film was Salman Khan ’s guest appearance. That’s the only memorable thing about the film.
10 – Lai Bhaari
With Lai Bhaari, Riteish Deshmukh ventured into Marathi films and marked his debut in the Marathi cinema as an actor and producer. Salman Khan agreed to do a cameo on the request of Riteish who happens to be one of his friends. Khan is seen in the role of Bhau, a farmer. The film was the most successful Marathi movie of the year.
