On this Sunday, production house October Films India launched trailer of The Fakir Of Venice starring Farhan Akhtar , Anu Kapoor in the lead. It was quite a breeze for all the Farhan Akhtar ’s fan after a quite a long time. And films first impression seems very fresh and gives a much-needed break to every Bollywood cine-goer, who is habitual for most of the heavy-duty drama.
Besides the unique title, the story seems to be brought straight from a novel, though it is written by director Homi Adajania, which seems compelling. The movie directed by Anand Surapur , who previously produced South-Indian cross-over hit, Quick Gun Murgan and not debuting with feature length Bollywood film, while producing it. The film takes us to the beautiful scenic of the Himalayas, Banaras, and thw Metro City while beautifully depicting Venice city. The trailer talks about two individuals, going through one journey, dealing with dilemma and prejudices about their different worlds and on which note this journey would end is the story.
To the fact, it was supposed to be a debut film but got stalled for some reason, but that it gives the film a reminiscent look, which goes perfectly with an ‘adapted movie feel.’ Although there aren’t many characters in this story, when you have two promising actors and one fresh story, you don’t need many characters to feel the canvas. Though it is not fair to compare, it seems Anu Kapoor is playing the role of his career and it just looks wow!
Although music and its release date are yet to be disclosed, we can be assured about music since it would be composed by A. R. Rahman. For any updated about this movie, BollywoodMDB will keep you posted.
