The prequel Julie starring Neha Dhupia made quite a stir when it was released in 2004, for its bold depiction, sensuality factor that made every head turn. But besides that many of those audiences also appreciated the plot twist and revelation in Julie. And now, director Deepak Shivdasani is back with its sequel, Julie 2 , starring Raai Laxmi in the lead role. And, just as we all were given a hint in the teaser, the trailer feeds more about the story, which would only make you more intrigued about the film, just watch it!
The prequel was made keeping niche of the audience with erotic drama with an above average story. But with Julie 2 , director Deepak Shivdasani came up with a more gripping story of many plots and subplots which would make this movie more than just an erotic feast than with a solid storyline. The irony is the film is presented by former CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani who is known to censor bold scenes. The movie also stars Aditya Shrivastava who is popular as Abhijeet from Sony Tv’s show CID.
The film Julie 2 casts Raai Laxmi , Rati Agnihotri, Sahil Salathia, Aditya Srivastava, Ravi Kishen , Pankaj Tripathi and even acclaimed director Nishikant Kamat! The film is co-produced by Vijay Nair and Santosh Dhoot! Julie 2 is set to release on 6th October this year!
