Yes! You read it right. The foot tapping dance number "Tu Meri" from action-thriller film ' Bang Bang! ' was composed within five minutes by music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar . Here's the story what went behind to bring up this chartbuster song on the floor.
Director Siddharth Raj Anand threw the challenge on music composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani to design a soundtrack keeping in mind Hrithik Roshan 's dancing stature. And they randomly started mumbling some tunes and within the span of five minutes they intrigued on this up-n-down tempo. By then, they produced a new sound, which they played back to back for Siddharth and he loved it, so did Hrithik. Thus, "Tu Meri" tune got the approval.
Next were the lyrics, Vishal penned easy content yet heart-touching words like "Aisi kya, chali hawa, ki le gayi meri saanson ko mujhse door, Tere paas aur mujhe huaa ehsaas, tu tu tu, tu meri ri ri, main tera ra, hone laga..." Siddharth thought no other singer than Vishal would do justice to this highly energetic track.
"Tu Meri" song is indeed the adrenaline rush track, but what made it extra special are its visuals filmed on the lead pair Hrithik and Katrina Kaif , who have danced their heart-out for this track.
The joint effort of ' Bang Bang! ' team paid off making "Tu Meri" the chartbuster track of 2014!
