TV actress Harshita Gaur cast in a web series by Zoya Akhtar!
TV actress and ‘Sadda Haq’ fame Harshita Guar has been roped in for a web series by Zoya Akhtar, which also stars Ali Fazal.

One can definitely say that this year has turned out to be lucky for the TV actress Harshita Gaur as she has already bagged two plum projects. If sources are to be believed, Gaur is doing two web series like ‘Black Coffee’ with Param Singh and ‘Punch Beat’ with the ‘Bigg Boss’ fame Priyank Sharma. But, the cherry on the cake moment for the actress that she has also been signed for a web series titled ‘Mirzapur’ with ‘Excel Entertainment’ and the series also stars talented actor Ali Fazal in the pivotal role. The series is to be directed by renowned director Zoya Akhtar who has given movies like ‘ Luck by Chance ’, ‘ Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara ’ and ‘ Dil Dhadakne Do ’.
Gaur will be seen playing a Brahmin girl called Dimpy Pandit, sister of Ali Fazal . The series also stars Shweta Tripathi , Pankaj Tripathi , and many others. Talking about her character, she shared, “I was confirmed for the series at the last moment. It is a sweet character that grows along with the story. The team is great and we are shooting on real locations. It’s all together a great experience.”
The shooting of the series has already begun and is slated to be released on ‘Amazon Prime’. As the ‘ Excel Entertainment ’ venture has plans to host 2 seasons of the show, the first season will break in 10 episodes.
