Two films old Disha Patani replaces much senior Shruti Hassan in Sangamithra!
Disha Patani, is currently shooting for Baaghi 2 with Tiger Shroff, has replaced Shruti Hassan in the period drama, Sanghmithra.

Beautiful and charming actress Disha Patani , who made her debut with M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story opposite Sushant Singh Rajput has done only two projects in Bollywood, of which one was an Indo-Chino production. But despite her less experience in the showbiz, she is considered to be one of the most sought-after actresses from the current crop. If the latest reports are to be believed, the actress is all set to take the south cinema by storm with her upcoming film Sanghmithra. Yes, the actress has bagged the lead role in the Tamil period drama. For the uninitiated, Sanghmithra is the same project which was announced at Cannes Film Festival with Shruti Hassan , but the actress opted out of the project for reasons best known to her.
To be made on the lines of Telugu blockbusters Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, Sanghmithra is being directed by Sundar C and produced by Sri Thenandal Films. Doing such a big budgeted film in the beginning of her career is definitely a big thing for any actress. We can just imagine how ecstatic Disha would be today. She is currently shooting for Baaghi 2 with Tiger Shroff .
Besides Tamil, Sanghmithra will also release in Hindi and Telugu.
