Ugly's release date delayed
Anurag Kashyap directed, much-acclaimed psychological thriller, \'Ugly\' release date has been postponed. Initially, the movie was slated to release in October.

Post gutsy ' Gangs Of Wasseypur ', the ace director Anurag Kashyap came back with his next psychological thriller, ' Ugly ', which received sheer amount of acclamation on its screening at 2013 Cannes Film Festival. After grasping positive reviews from the jury there, the film was slated to release in October for the masses. But due to some issues, the date has been currently delayed.
' Ugly ' won appreciations at Cannes, because of its out-of-the-box scripting and direction helmed by Anurag himself. It is based upon the plot, where daughter of divorced parents, who suddenly goes missing that further leads to the blame-game. Following the eccentric story, it also stars the unconventional actors like Ronit Roy , Rahul Bhatt , Girish Kulkarni , Tejaswini Kolhapure and Surveen Chawla .
Earlier, it was locked to release on October 11, 2013, but now the filmmakers have announced the film ' Ugly ' to be postponed, without defying the new release date.
