Acclaimed filmmaker Umesh Shukla , who is directing Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in his upcoming directorial venture, 102 Not Out , is heaping praises on the two legendary actors. The director says that the passion and perfection in which the two conduct themselves is commendable.
The forthcoming film stars Big B as a 102-year-old man, while Kapoor will be seen as his 75-year-old son. Both the actors left no stone unturned to get their looks right in the film. To ensure that nothing goes wrong as far as their looks are concerned, they used heavy prosthetics. “Sometimes, what happens is that when so much makeup is done before the shoot, one gets tired, but with these people (Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor), they never show it… Forget about showing, it doesn’t even seem they are tired. Both actors are so passionate about their work that they don’t like it if a shot is not well done,” Shukla said.
Shukla, who shot to fame after directing Oh My God (2012), is working with Rishi Kapoor for the second time after their last outing All Is Well , while 102 Not Out will mark his first collaboration with the thespian of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan .
Bachchan had earlier this week said he has wrapped up shooting for the film. The editing and dubbing are currently in progress. Earlier scheduled to release in December this year, the film has been pushed for an early 2018 release.
