Director Anubhav Sinha signed veteran Neena Gupta for ‘Mulq’ after she plead on Instagram that she is out of work.

Actress Neena Gupta is a two time National Film Award winner and has worked for more than 35 years in the industry. After regularly appearing in films and TV shows, a few months back, the 63-year-old actresses revealed on Instagram that she was out of work and plead for some decent job. Neena shared a picture of herself and captioned, "I live in Mumbai and working I am a good actor looking for good parts to play." And seems like the internet did its job and now, the actress has a film in her kitty. Abhinav roped in Gupta for the part in his film ‘ Mulq ’ where she will be seen playing a strong role opposite Rishi Kapoor . Two days back, she again took to her Instagram account and revealed that she finally got a new film and has even started shooting for her next. The veteran wrote, "Delhi railway station ready for my next film."
Though her act was really a courageous one and we hardly see anyone do anything like this, she was applauded by global star Priyanka Chopra and PC said she is inspired by her act. Neena never followed the stereotypes and always known for being open and expressive about her thoughts. We guess that’s what makes her what she today is. Her act was backed and shared by her daughter Masaba. Well, as she is finally doing a new movie, we wish all the luck for her upcoming project.
