Veteran Filmmaker Yash Chopra Passes Away at 80

Yash Chopra, one of the greatest film makers (writer, director & producer), passed away today evening (around 5.30pm) in Lilavati Hospital, Bandra.

Yash Chopra , one of the greatest film makers (writer, director & producer), passed away today evening (around 5.30pm) in Lilavati Hospital, Bandra. He was admitted to this hospital on 13th October after being diagnosed with dengue fever.

He had directed several films but some of his famous films are ' Daag ', ' Deewaar ', ' Silsila ', ' Chandni ', ' Veer-Zaara ' etc.

Though he is popularly known as the 'King Of Romance' he has directed many action films also such as ' Deewaar ', ' Kaala Patthar ' etc. and no other director can match his action genre.

His last film as director was/is ' Jab Tak Hai Jaan ' starring Shah Rukh Khan which is slated to be released on 13 November this year on the eve of Diwali.

His body, which was brought to his bungalow around 9.15pm, would be kept at his Yash Raj Studio till tomorrow afternoon for last darshan for his well wishers.

It is shocking news for everyone.
