Being part of the Varun Dhawan , Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu starrer Judwaa 2 is quite an achievement for actor Vikas Verma . The actor says that he is a big fan of the 1997 film, Judwaa starring Salman Khan , Karisma Kapoor , and Rambha . “I have grown up watching Salman Khan ’s films, Judwaa was one of his best, every scene was so good that you can't choose one, Also who can forget the evergreen and everyone's favorite Karisma Kapoor and Salman sir were on screen, it was highly energetic,” he says.
Varun is the perfect choice for the sequel, says Vikas. “If you see the songs and the trailer, Varun Dhawan has actually raised all bars with his act and he is looking like young Salman Khan. There is a different kind of madness in this part and I am sure there will be a lot of praises for his act. Working with him was really fun. He is very friendly and makes everyone comfortable. This helps you perform your best and not hesitate in your scenes. He is a very humble and a kind person. I loved each moment when I was with him, his aura is very different,” he says.
Talking about his role in the film, he says, “My character in Judwaa 2 in flamboyant, very mean, someone who is actually very bossy and thinks he is the best.”
Working with Taapsee Pannu was also fun for Vikas. “It was lovely working with Taapsee because my part in the movie is with her. She is an amazing human being, a great actor, who is working really hard to reach where she is. I didn’t have scenes with the amazing Jacqueline. But I hope to work with her soon,” he says.
Of course, director David Dhawan was amazing, says Vikas, who was waiting for the chance to work with him. “Working under David Sir was a dream come true. I grew up watching his films, all the number ones. I remember long back one of my friends used to say if you get a small part in David Dhawan's movie, you will be really lucky and here I am playing an important part in his movie already. He is very sweet, he takes care of you, asks you if you had something to eat or not. He even made my last day very memorable with his fatherly love,” he adds.
Vikas bonded with Varun because of their common love for fitness as well. “I think, he is the same as me where enthusiasm for fitness is concerned. But he works much harder than I do. I used to catch him when he was working out and ask about things, and as usual, very kindly he used to give me tips about muscles and bodybuilding,” he says.
