Vir Das to essay intense role in 'Revolver Rani'

The comic hero Vir Das has been roped in by the director Tigmanshu Dhulia for playing an intense role in film \'Revolver Rani\'. Das confesses to stick to his comic image.

Vir Das , who made the audience remember him for his comic roles in the films like ' Delhi Belly ', ' Badmaash Company ' and ' Go Goa Gone ', is going to play an intense and serious role for the first time in the upcoming film ' Revolver Rani ' by Tigmanshu Dhulia . ' Revolver Rani ' features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.

Verifying the news, Vir Das said that his performance in the film ' Delhi Belly ' made Tigmanshu Dhulia to approach the actor. Das even asked the director about casting him in his next flick. As per the reports, Dhulia admitted that he always looks forward to cast an actor contrary to his comfort zone.

Vir Das revealed that even if he will be doing this role, he would like to be tagged as a comic hero.
