Karan Johar ’s Kalank is definitely going to be a grand project and one can say it just by looking at the cast and crew of the film. When a film has actors like Sanjay Dutt , Madhuri Dixit , Alia Bhatt , Varun Dhawan , Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha with makers like Karan and Sajid Nadiadwala , the scale is definitely meant to be grandeur. But that’s not it! The film also has a song that has a total of 500 background dancers. Yes, that’s right! A mammoth 500 dancers! It is reported to be an item number which will be headed by Varun and Kiara Advani and joining them will have 500 dancers from all over India.
According to a leading tabloid, the track has been composed by Pritam and Remo D’Souza is appointed to choreograph the massive number.
A close source related to the movie revealed to the tabloid, "Varun began his rehearsals with Remo’s team four days before shoot and Kiara joined him on the last two days. In between shots, the actor would catch up on his workouts in a gym specially built on set."
For the uninitiated, Kalank was initially Karan’s late father’s dream project but now, it is being helmed by Abhishek Varman and will be released on April 19th, 2019.
