With the success of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, there will be a sequel soon!

It was indeed one of the quirky comedy of the year and everything about Shubh Mangal Saavdhan was so perfect and hilarious, it was bound to spawn success and appreciation it aimed to acquire! With solid box office collection of 33.92crores and still running, the film was also praised by critics and audience! And as the director of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan , RS Prasanna stated, a sequel for the film will be made and lead cast of a prequel, Ayushman Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar will be part of the sequel!

As director gave further details on the sequel on the success party of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan , “The feedback we got was positive. So a sequel will definitely happen, though we don't know when exactly it is going to happen since I was making the Tamil version then I had thought of an idea for the sequel. I think it will be a lot of fun, but it is only an idea as of now. There is no script but already had a story. We were waiting for the audience's reaction if they wanted to listen to the next story!"

The film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan was a pre-wedding drama which added the angle of male erectile dysfunction and the anxiety associated with it to the story and had many moments in the film which tickled audience in the theatre. Although, not many people know, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan was a remake of Tamil film Kalyana Samayal Saadham which was directed by RS Prasanna !
