Actor Mahesh Babu ready for Bharat Ane Nenu sequel; just waiting for director’s approval!
According to Mahesh Babu, the team of Bharat had a content to make 5-6 hours long film, so given a chance, he’s ready for its sequel.

Telugu superstar, Mahesh Babu, has taken the box office with a storm with his latest release, Bharat Ane Nenu. Released on 20th April, the film has already made more than 140 crores from the worldwide market and is still unstoppable at the box office. But there’s good news for all the Mahesh Babu fans! To give his fans another cinematic treat, the actor is ready to do the sequel of Bharat, but is waiting for its director’s approval. According to the actor, earlier, the writers of the film had content which would have turned into a 5-6 hours long film, but due to CBFC’s constraints, they altered it. But given a chance, Mahesh is ready to do Bharat 2, once director Koratala Siva agrees.
Talking with a leading daily, the actor said, “To be honest, we had content to do a five-hour film. But since we had to make it one film, we edited the content down to less than three hours. But I would love to do a sequel if Siva Sir (director) agrees.”
Speaking on its spectacular collection, the actor added, “We knew we had a terrific film on our hands as Siva garu (director Koratala Siva) is a great storyteller. But one never knows which way the wind blows. It’s always the audience which gives the final verdict, and it’s truly overwhelming and a big thank you to all who have unanimously loved our film. It’s a very proud moment for me.”
