Aditi Rao Hydari to star in the next directorial of acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam
The film will mark her second association with the noted director after Kaatru Veliyidai.

Talented actress Aditi Rao Hydari , who has received rave reviews for her stunning performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's magnum opus Padmaavat , has bagged the next directorial venture of ace movie maker Mani Ratnam . “I am doing Mani sir’s next film. A very exciting project. Then I am finishing Daas Dev. Then I am doing a Telugu film with a National Award-winning director. For me, cinema is about a director’s vision and that is what I am looking for. Looking forward to directors who can bring out the best in me. Hopefully, I am on the right track,” confirms the actress.
The yet to be titled film will be Hydari’s second association with the director. She first teamed up with Ratnam for Kaatru Veliyidai last year. While the movie witnessed an average response from the audience, her performance was lauded by one and all.
Her next with the award-winning director will be a multi starrer. Besides her, the film also features Silambarasan Rajendar, Malayalm superstar Fahaad Fasil, Jyothika Saravanan, Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh . A R Rahman will compose music for the movie.
The film will start rolling in March this year.
