Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh makes our jaw dropped every time he brings something new. No doubts he is a brilliant actor when it comes to comedy genre movies but for the last few years, he has proved his mettle in the dark and series dramas as well. He has now brought us the latest trailer of his film, ‘Sajjan Singh Rangroot’ and left all of us stunned. The trailer shows the lives of Indian Sikh soldiers during the British Raj, who are sent on World War I and they believe that their win in the war will ensure the freedom of India.
In the three minutes long trailer, we see the struggle the Lahore regiment underwent while fighting the Germans who outnumbered them. They faced a food shortage, they had no medicines and their fellow mates were being killed, still, they were determined to win the battle.
We see that Sikh soldiers are fighting for the British by but when Diljit asks his senior “Will the blood they shed during the war be valued?” his question remains unanswered. The further fight of the Indian soldiers with the Germans and the British for their freedom forms the crux of the story.
The film also stars Yograj Singh , Jarnail Singh, Jagjeet Sandhu and marks the big screen debut of Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma and it is scheduled to release on March 23, 2018.
