Has Kamal Haasan bowed out of ‘Bharateeyudu 2’?
Reportedly, the actor was not happy with his remuneration and hence decided to leave the project.

Starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shankar Bharateeyudu emerged as one of the most loved films of its time. The film was praised highly for many things from its action to direction and makeup. After two decades of its release, the makers are planning to roll out its sequel with Kamal Haasan in the lead role. One of the leading producers of Telugu cinema Dil Raju is even ready to finance the project. But before the film could go on floors, rumours have started floating around that the project has hit a roadblock. Reportedly, Kamal has opted out of the film because he is not happy with his remuneration.
Reports also claim that after Haasan quit the film, the makers have roped in Surya in the lead role. However, neither the producer nor the director Shankar has confirmed anything. Kamal Haasan boasts of many brilliant films in his oeuvre. Whenever a list of his best films is compiled, Bharateeyudu will always top the list. His fans were really excited when they came to know about him being a part of Bharateeyudu. But the news of him not doing the project is definitely going to disappoint his fans all over the world.
