The entire nation is in trauma after the death of the legendary actress, Sridevi . The late superstar died on Saturday night and the whole country mourned her death. While the entire nation paid tribute and condolences to the actor and her family, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took a step further and unveiled his next project seeking some positivity. RGV took to Twitter and announced his upcoming, which is titled, Officer and it stars Telugu superstar, Nagarjuna . Officer is slated to release on 25th May this year.
RGV tweeted, “After all the negativity around Sridevi, I am truly wanting some positivity and releasing the title, first look poster and release date of my most ambitious film with @iamnagarjuna #NAGRGV4 is now #OFFICER”
Nagarjuna will play the role of a badass cop in the film. The actor admitted that everybody was shocked that he is doing a film with RGV. While sharing the first look, the actor had said, “28 years ago a film called Shiva changed my life and now again another film/what I’m feeling now is something I cannot describe! I only wish that life was so exciting every day#NagRGV4.”
In 1989, Varma made his directorial debut with Telugu film, Siva, which starred Nagarjuna , the very next year; he remade the same film in Hindi with the same actor. And now, after 28 long years, he is again directing the same actor for his most ambitious project.
