Seasoned actress Madhuri Dixit tries something different for her debut Marathi flick 'Bucket List'!

One of the most popular actresses of Indian cinema, Madhuri Dixit surprised her fans all over the world when she announced her very first Marathi movie Bucket List on the auspicious occasion of Sankranti. We have seen the seasoned actress in various avatars before, but it will be the first time when we see her as a funky bike rider. Madhuri has always been seen gyrating to catchy song beats but in this movie, we will be seeing her in a rowdy biker avatar, wearing in a leather jacket, black goggles, white helmet and riding the hi-end bike, something which is surely going to be a look to kill. Madhuri is portraying a simple puneri housewife character was seen riding the bike on Pune’s Prabhat road where they were shooting the last schedule of the movie Bucket List.

We have never seen Madhuri riding a bike in movies and for this particular sequence, she learned to ride the bike. Initially, the actress was quite nervous but she trained a lot on Pune roads. Pune is not new to her as she has roamed and wandered on Pune roads with her cousins.

Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar directed Bucket List is wrapping up its last schedule in Pune after shooting in Mumbai, Alibaug and scenic Langkawi. Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, who has also written the film along with Devashree Shivadekar, explains that the movie goes through different phases, each capturing a moment in the slice-of-life film. This particular “phase” was shot on an extremely hot day and even though everyone was tired after a while, the team aced the sequence. “ Madhuri Dixit has been shooting 12 hours a day and never once made us feel we were working with a big star. She never carried any baggage to the sets and understands that regional films have their limitations. She’s adjusted effortlessly,” he says fondly.

The film is being produced under the banner of Dark Horse Cinemas, Blue Mustang Creations, and Dar Motion Pictures . It is all set for a summer release and it’s surely going to be a cool breeze.
